An American studying library and information studies in Scotland, she lives with two spoiled cats and her life/publishing partner, when he’s not holding down the fort in Washington state.

I live in Leeds and have one daughter who is 23 and lives in Birmingham after qualifying with BSC in Geography Climate change and Sustainability works for HS2 (very proud of that)

I live in a  3 bed semi that was adapted with the help of a DFG grant

My business is called Connecting the dots and more and I work on may things in the disability arena after losing my job because of discrimination and not fitting into the office environment

Zoe Partington

An award-winning, contemporary visual installation artist with a wicked sense of humour, fellow of the Henry Moore Institute and leading international arts inclusion trainer, advisor consultant and disability activist. Currently on an annual program at Newlyn Art School. A mum who has managed 5 children and travelled to many continents to meet other disabled activists.

Emma Vogelmann

Emma Vogelmann is a disabled activist, policy expert and consultant. She works with organisations on disability inclusion, accessibility and social change, and is the host of The Wheelchair Activist podcast, where she speaks with disabled people, policymakers and changemakers about the issues affecting disabled communities.

The Wheelchair Activist is a platform dedicated to disability rights, representation and social change. Through consultancy, speaking engagements, writing and podcasting, it helps organisations and audiences better understand the experiences of disabled people and the barriers they face.

Avril Coelho

Avril Coelho is a Disabled Artist and Photographer whose work is influenced my her lived experiences, unseen beauty in the natural world and live music. 

Avril’s careers spanned Retail Management in Health and Wellbeing, Politics and both Local and National Charity Trustee roles including Chairing two locally. Simultaneously, Avril was also a Borough Councillor approved for Westminster in 2017. 

Avril is involved with various Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations which are local, National and International as well as Tackling VAWG and Representing Businesses in her Borough as a long serving member of her Borough’s Safer Neighbourhood Board. 

Some artwork supports White Ribbon UK, hence Avril Coelho Creations is an Accredited White Ribbon UK Supporter Organisation. 

Avril is trying to raise awareness of Parry-Romberg Syndrome a very rare and progressive syndrome she’s had since childhood. She supports Parry-Romberg Syndrome via easyfundraising.org.uk and encourages others to do so just shopping online as usual.
